Brook Bread House is a home-based micro-bakery in Brook, IN. We specialize in sourdough bread and baked goods. It is our belief that not all carbs are created equal, so we put great care and intention into creating products that are nutrition dense, flavorful, and comforting. Our menu is simple, but we try to add new items and seasonal favorites from time to time. Contact us if there's something you'd like to see on the menu!

We offer a weekly pop-up in Brook on Wednesday afternoons, as well as a robust market schedule. We also gladly accept custom orders, so think of us for your next family gathering or corporate event.

Honey Whole Wheat Sourdough

This loaf contains 60% Whole Wheat flour as well as local honey. A soft and flavorful loaf, ready to make your sandwich dreams come true.

Ingredients: Whole Wheat Flour, Wheat Flour, Water, Eggs, Butter, Honey, Olive Oil, Salt, Rolled Oats.

Rustic Sourdough

Rustic sourdough loaf made with freshly ground whole wheat and rye. (Also known as Sour Sisters loaf)

Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Whole Wheat Flour, Rye Flour, Water, Salt.

Cranberry Walnut Sourdough

A rustic sourdough loaf full of cranberries and walnuts. An excellent breakfast bread, or dinner companion!

Ingredients: wheat flour, water, dried cranberries, walnuts, salt.

Milk Bread Buns

The fluffiest gluten-clouds in town! These soft and buttery buns make an excellent dinner companion, and are also great for sandwiches or burgers.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, water, eggs, milk, butter, sugar, salt, yeast.

Whole Wheat Milk Bread Buns

These gluten-clouds are made with freshly ground whole grain wheat, and the tangzhong method of precooking a portion of the flour, extending the shelf life and adding extra fluffiness! These are great as a large dinner roll or a sandwich bun.

Milk Bread Loaf

Soft and buttery white bread! Slices up great for sandwiches, toast, and as a dinner companion. This bread will not disappoint!

Decadent chocolate chip cookies with the deep nutty flavor of browned butter.

Sourdough Chocolate Cookies with Peanut Butter Filling

Soft and chewy dark chocolate cookies filled with a rich and creamy peanut butter filling. Eat a light dinner... you're going to want to make sure there's room for dessert!

Hi, I'm Brittany. I've been baking sourdough bread as a home baker for over 7 years. What started as a desire to bake nutritious bread for my family, spiraled into a deep love affair with every step of the process, especially the finished product. In 2022 I really wanted to hone my skills and achieve more consistency with my bakes; that meant I had A LOT of extra bread around. I started Brook Bread House as a way to share the bread love with my community. I'm forever grateful for the generous support from my community. I have the BEST customers and it is my joy to bake for you.
